Pathways to a Diverse Professoriate: AGEP National Research Conference
Conference Dates: March 15 - 16, 2018
Location: Berkeley, CA
Suggested arrival date is March 14, 2018 and departure date is March 17, 2018.
Each AGEP-funded project is invited to register individuals, as follows:
- For Collaborative Awards with a lead AGEP awardee, the lead awardee is invited to register three individuals: the PI and primary researcher, as well as one of the following personnel: a Co-PI, Project Director, Evaluator, or another person considered key personnel.
- Most non-lead AGEP-funded project participating in a Collaborative Award is invited to register three individuals. If you are a non-lead campus and would like more slots, please contact us.
- Each other type of AGEP-funded project (e.g., KAT- and BPR-funded awardees), is invited to register three individuals, including the PI, Co-PI, Project Director, Evaluator, and other key personnel.
Requests for additional participants will be made available if space permits.
All postdoctoral fellows and graduate students conducting research that advances AGEP goals are invited to apply through the Postdoctoral/Graduate Student Competition Portal. Twenty travel and registration awards will be made available by the conference organizers for those selected. For more information, please visit the Student Competition Portal.

Registration for the conference is done through RegOnline, the official payment vendor of the University of California.
Frequently Asked Questions
I would like to register for the conference, but I can’t find my name or the name of the person I want to register.
We have organized the “registration types” by NSF award number and Principal Investigator (PI) name. If you are a Co-PI, Research Director, or Evaluator, find the name of the PI or NSF award number of your grant to register! If you can’t find your name or need help, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: We have found that some PI names are out of date. If that’s the case, please email us at email@example.com and let us know and we will update this immediately.
It says that we’ve reached the limit of people we can register. What do we do? Can we bring more?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation and Substitution Policy: Cancellation requests sent before 7:59 AM (PST) on February 16, 2018 will be refunded 50% ($200.00) of registration fees. Cancellation requests sent after 8:00 AM (PST) February 16, 2018, will not be eligible for a refund. All registrants can substitute their registration for another member of their AGEP team at no cost up to the day of the conference (March 15, 2018).
All cancellation and substitution requests must be done in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
